Hub Motor and Battery
There's few places you can't go with Big Sur Sport, thanks to its powerful 750W (nominal) rear hub motor by Bafang paired with a 48V 15Ah high-capacity battery.
Torque Sensor
Rather than relying on an outdated cadence sensor to detect your movement, our torque sensor is able to instantly feel how hard you're pedaling at any given time and instruct the motor to match your performance, improving safety and efficiency.

Everything you need is right in front of you at all times, including your current speed, battery remaining, distance traveled, and much more.
20” x 4” Fat Tires
20” x 4’’ tires enable you to traverse any terrain with ease while retaining the nimble feeling of a 20" tire. It's the best of both worlds!
Suspension Fork
Offering 80mm of travel and adjustable preload & lockout functionality, our suspension fork provides a smooth and comfortable ride feel throughout a wide variety of riding conditions.
Fender & Rear Rack
Fenders come pre-installed to ensure you'll be able to tackle all sorts of weather conditions. Plus, an included MIK HD rear rack means there's no limit to what you can take with you.
Flat Position Welding
We've applied one of the most advanced aluminum welding processes to our frame, an exclusive "flat position welding" technique. This allows the frame to maintain its strength and rigidity while also appearing smooth and flat.
Walk Assist
Gone are the days of pushing your bike around by hand. Our walk assist function allows the bike to maintain ~2-3mph (walking speed) as you push it alongside you, up a hill, or anywhere else.
Controller Compartment
Mid-drive? Not quite! Our mid-mounted controller cavity allows for streamlined assembly and repair, while also bolstering the controller's heat dissipation capabilities, improving the bike's performance and safety.

Just got the Sport for my 5’3” wife during the Black Friday sale. She loves the bike but felt like the throttle was a little too intense and jumpy. The dealer did a firmware update that reduced the throttle intensity by 30%…much better. She also felt like she was reaching for the handlebars even though I rolled them back and moved her seat forward. So, I reversed the stem and remounted the handlebars which moved the handlebars back a few inches….perfect…happy wife. Great bike, much smoother torque converter than my Mokwheel…I’m jealous!
After conducting numerous grueling test rides, I arrived at the conclusion that the AIMA brand truly stands out as an exceptional choice for a big Sur sport e-bike. Having ridden it for a month now, I can confidently say that I adore every moment spent on it. In eco mode, I consistently achieve an impressive range of at least 60 miles on a full charge, making it perfect for my long rides. Along the way, I've received countless compliments from passersby, which only adds to the thrill of the experience.
Bought about a month ago. Very well made and rides so smooth. My first e-bike and glad I bit the bullet. So much fun and easy to ride.
Best purchase I’ve made in years. Guaranteed to make you smile like a kid, even when riding up a steep hill. 800 miles since February, no issues. Only thing I added was the tire inserts for flat protection. Nice to be able to throttle at start off - then peddle to save your knees. Great exercise without feeling sore the next day.
My wife, daughter and granddaughter each tried my bike - and each of them
now have one. My son-n-law had a more expensive, heavier e-bike - after borrowing my daughter’s Big Sur - he bought a one that he rides 90% of the time now. We just ordered two more, so we have extras for other family members to ride when they visit. Just Too Much Fun 👍
We went around and tried every single e-bike we could find within about 30 mi radius. Although we did find some really nice bikes, this particular bike was the one we went with. Besides the fact that the entire bike had been certified, not just the battery was one of the reasons why. The other reason is because the sprocket is larger and it feels like a 26-in bike. We do not like the foldables and this bike gives you more options for comfort. The front forks will take any abuse and the bike is light enough to manage in the smallest spaces. I was always afraid of a fat tire bike, but this one responds as if it is a thin tire mountain bike. I live an active lifestyle and always have and to be honest my second ride we went 40 MI.
That was about a good half day trip so I'm going to get an extra battery so that I can enjoy it much longer. E-Bikes level the playing field for everybody to enjoy including Grandma and Grandpa. We are still adding a couple of things to our bikes, but this is where they're at after a couple of weeks. It's so much fun to customize your own bike as well.
