Big Sur Sport Ebike

Best purchase I’ve made in years. Guaranteed to make you smile like a kid, even when riding up a steep hill. 800 miles since February, no issues. Only thing I added was the tire inserts for flat protection. Nice to be able to throttle at start off - then peddle to save your knees. Great exercise without feeling sore the next day.
My wife, daughter and granddaughter each tried my bike - and each of them
now have one. My son-n-law had a more expensive, heavier e-bike - after borrowing my daughter’s Big Sur - he bought a one that he rides 90% of the time now. We just ordered two more, so we have extras for other family members to ride when they visit. Just Too Much Fun 👍

We went around and tried every single e-bike we could find within about 30 mi radius. Although we did find some really nice bikes, this particular bike was the one we went with. Besides the fact that the entire bike had been certified, not just the battery was one of the reasons why. The other reason is because the sprocket is larger and it feels like a 26-in bike. We do not like the foldables and this bike gives you more options for comfort. The front forks will take any abuse and the bike is light enough to manage in the smallest spaces. I was always afraid of a fat tire bike, but this one responds as if it is a thin tire mountain bike. I live an active lifestyle and always have and to be honest my second ride we went 40 MI.
That was about a good half day trip so I'm going to get an extra battery so that I can enjoy it much longer. E-Bikes level the playing field for everybody to enjoy including Grandma and Grandpa. We are still adding a couple of things to our bikes, but this is where they're at after a couple of weeks. It's so much fun to customize your own bike as well.

I was lucky enough that the dealer near me carried all 3 models the Big Sur, Big Sur Sport, and the Santa Monica and I can honestly say when test riding this after any aventon or velotric or any of the other brands that spends a ton on marketing, the difference is huge! some of the smoothest ride I've ever felt! All of the models have a ton of safety features built in from break lights, turn signals, fantastic breaks! The craftmanship is top notch and really is just an all round superior bike! Today I'm a proud owner of a Santa Monica, but honestly, when commuting around the city, the Big Sur Sport would also be perfect too! Think I'll get that one soon for my girlfriend and we can switch it around!

Saw the Big Sur Sport at a rental shop in New Orleans, and the bike looks awesome. The feeatures seem great.
But, would like to find this bike, or maybe the Santa Monica, at a dealer more local to our home in south Alabama. No one nearby seems to have these bikes in stock. Maybe soon....?

We found these bikes by accident while looking at Aventon Sinch.2. Those are foldable and cheaper which were the big pluses for us. But after riding these Big Sur sport, we both liked these more but the total cost for 2 of these bikes were $600 more. Additionally, we have to get a more robust bike rack. However, it was all worth it. The bikes are beautiful, solid, smooth and powerful. We took them to the beaches, roads and trails. They climbed up the hills with no problem, even when there r loose dirt and rocks. We have had them for like 40 days and have put 200 miles on it. The MK rack is so convenient. We just need to pop the accessories on when we are ready to bike and pop them off when we are about to load them onto the bike rack. The only thing we didn’t like is the headlight which is pretty weak and almost useless haha sorry Aima! No one is perfect! . Hopefully Aima will come out with a better headlight that we can swap out. Otherwise, buy these, you won’t regret it.
